Old Abandoned Train Station in Port Murray, New Jersey

I was up in Hackettstown getting my second covid vaccine and detoured west to head back home to Wharton which took me through a small town that is part of Mansfield Township called Port Murray.

I am always peaking around whiile driving,   looking for locations to explore and talk about. I drove past an old small post office and noticed behind it was a small single red train and the little green station that said Port Murray on it. Did a quick google search to find out it was listed on the National Registry. I also did a search of whether Post Offices are considered public property? but thats another blog post

Anyway the area was small but I knew I wanted to come back and do some self portraits here and talk about the location as it fits all my criteria (safe, accessible, permissable, rustic and a story to tell).

Check out the place on here to learn its history and let me know what you think. Portraits are shown in the reviews section
